Radar Wizard
News Radars (or
RSS Mashups) are subject-specific RSS-based information channels. They allow aggregating the Web articles, news, blog and message board’s posts, press releases, bids, newsgroup’s threads, images, audio and video.
There are no limitations on the Radar’s subject. It can be as simple as
"HDDVD"or a bit more complicated as
"high-end HDVD"or as complicated as
"HDVD or Blu-Ray"
or even a bit weird as
"HDVD
- Toshiba".
The Radars can be used to monitor a best deal on eBay, to see how is your competitor doing, to keep track of your industry’s most recent trends,
to observe how the Web is buzzing upon a new music album, blockbuster movie or cool gadget’s release or just look for new job positions in your area.
The list of Radars’ applications is very long to mention all of them.
However, you may ask -
"It is all sounds good and all but how can I create these
Radars, should I understand RSS or look for feeds all across the Web.
I have no time for it or donâ't know how to do it".
We realized that you may have those preservations and delivered Radar Wizard - an online
tool, which makes the Radars creation as easy as just regular Web
Search.
All you need to do is specify a keyword or key phrase, which represents
your Radars' subject, choose
Feed Type (News, Blogs, Video etc.) or
All, generate and preview the feeds, select or unselect them, and
then publish your Radar.
The whole process
will take no longer than a minute. The more detailed description of
Radar generation is at
Radar Wizard Help.
The service is free and all you
need to do is to
register.

Radar Wizard now!
We just recently added new features such as more advanced Selection Criteria, Firefox support, ability to add feeds to existing Radars, generating Widgets and new Feed Types (Message Boards, Amazon, Bids and Images).
When your Radar is created, you can check it out on
My Radars page. The Radar indexing to
create
Tag Cloud will be done within 24 hours.
If you want to
add some other feeds, you can use
My Admin tool (this tool also requires
the registration).
